2006 Championship

The St. John Fisher College women's soccer team defeated visiting Russell Sage 1-0 to win the NYSWCAA Championship on Saturday.

It is the first time in the program's history the Cardinals have won a state championship.

Junior Dani Davis received a pass from freshman Jenny Mauro with 15 minutes remaining to score the game-winning goal for the Cardinals.

Senior Stacey Gable and freshman Ashley Martin each played 45 minutes to combine for the shutout.
